Please make sure you understand our office policies.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.
Scheduling Visits
Appointments for sick and well visits are scheduled during regular working hours. Telephone lines open at 7:30 in the morning. If your child is sick we will make every effort to see him or her the day you call. Please call us as early in the day as possible. We ask that our patients not come to the office without calling first. If you have more than one child you would like to be examined, please understand you need to have a separate appointment for each child.
Canceling Appointments
For the convenience of our patients and parents we try to adhere to our appointment schedule. You will help us maintain that schedule if you arrive for your appointment on time or call us if you will be late. If you cannot keep the appointment or decide to cancel it please call us ahead of time (at least several hours prior to “sick” visit and few days prior to”well”visit) so that time can be allocated to someone else.
Prescriptions
If your child has routine refills for a chronic condition (asthma, eczema etc.) please call us with necessary information such as the name of the child, their date of birth, the name of the medication and a pharmacy number. We require at least 24 hours notice to refill those medications. Please note that no change of the dose will be made over the phone. We will not be able to ”call in” antibiotics ,steroids, eye drops, cough syrup or any other medication. Your child should be seen to assure the best medical treatment.
Consultations
At times a parent will call for a doctor to discuss a complex issue regarding a child’s health or behavior. In those instances it may be beneficial to actually have a parent and the patient come in for consultation and evaluation rather than try to accomplish this over the phone. We will be more than happy to schedule an appropriate appointment for this conference.
Nurse Call Back
Our nurses are very experienced in providing advice over the phone. They will return your phone call as soon as their schedule allows it. If you have an extensive question or your child is showing medical symptoms please schedule an appointment.

If you have question after normal working hours please check our web site FAQ and Health sections for an answer. We developed this web site for your use and education and we will update it regularly. If you have urgent need that requires to be addressed immediately please call (480) 677-4545 and leave message for a physician on call.
