Brian DeWitt, DO
Board Certified Pediatrician
Dr. Brian DeWitt joined JJ Pediatrics in July 2016. He grew up in Mesa, Arizona and earned his undergraduate degree, Magna Cumme Laude, from Arizona State University (ASU). His wife, Celynda, is also an Arizona native and ASU alumni.
Dr. DeWitt attended medical school at Touro University in Henderson, Nevada and completed his pediatric residency in West Palm Beach, Florida. He and his family enjoyed their adventures out of state and grew to include their 4 children. After training they were ready to return home to their large extended family in Arizona. He took ownership of the practice in February of 2021 and is Pediatrics Board Certified.
He enjoys volleyball, LEGOs, games, trivia, reading, and traveling – a favorite destination is Mexico, where he lived for 2 years and became a fluent Spanish-speaker. A kid at heart, he has a gift for putting even the most nervous patients at ease and knows a “Dad Joke” for every occasion. He is loyal, generous, and kind with the staff and fosters a family-like atmosphere in the office.

Nurse Practitioner
Frida Hanson, FNP, is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with a specialized background in pediatric care, including medical-surgical and oncology experience. Born and raised in Denmark, Frida moved to the United States at age 10.
Passionate about working with children, she delights in their energy and is dedicated to creating a comfortable, trusting environment for her young patients. By actively listening to parents’ concerns, she crafts personalized treatment plans that prioritize each child’s well-being.
Outside of work, Frida cherishes spending time with her family, trying new coffee shop, play dates with friends and their babies, and strolling through farmers markets.
